About Lauren O’Leary
Lauren O’Leary fell in love with the art of dance at a young age in Syracuse, New York. Lauren chose to further her pre-professional studies at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2014, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, with a minor in Business Management. After graduation, Lauren danced professionally in Key West and with Winston Salem Festival Ballet in Winter Salem, North Carolina. In 2014 Lauren moved her roots to New York City where concurrently, earned her Pilates certification at renowned school of Ellie Herman Pilates. Pilates quickly became a transformative part of her own dance training. She then discovered a new passion: a desire to share her knowledge and technique with others. Lauren specializes in pre- and post-natal care, senior and group training, and injury rehabilitation and recovery. Lauren has gone on to be a Senior Pilates Instructor at Equinox, where two years in a row earned a spot on the company’s, “Top 50 Pilates Instructors,” worldwide. Today, she is Barre Method certified, has Personal Training accreditation with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and authorization with Progressing Ballet Technique.
Lauren founded LO Impact, her own Pilates base fitness company in 2021. Since then, Lo Impact has done various teaching events in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Vail Valley Academy of Dance in Colorado and at Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Vermont. LO Impact’s mission is to empower both the elite mover and the everyday body by focusing on balance, strength, and recovery. Lauren built this community with the intention of helping all types live a happy and healthy lifestyle that feels centered. Lauren offers sessions at private studios, in homes, and virtual.
